During our baking masterclass you will learn how to make perfect cupcakes that are light and fluffy, delicious brownies that are gooey in the middle and sugar cookies that melt in the mouth… if you are able to resist the temptation during the class you will go home with 6 cupcakes, 6 brownies and 6 cookies… heaven! You will also be given lots of handy tips to achieve perfect bakes and the recipes to take home.
Our baking masterclass can only be booked as a private class and runs from 1pm-4pm, we take a minimum or 2 and a maximum of 4 students. Cost £70 person.
Icing celebration cakes smoothly and evenly can be a challenge. In our celebration cake class you will learn how to fill your cakes, and the techniques and tools needed to ice your cake and board to perfection. You will be taught various piping and decoration techniques, including making sugar flowers. At the end of the class you will be given the tools and inspiration to come up with your own cake design, and create it on your very own cake using the new skills you have learnt. At the end of the day you will be able to take home your celebration cake to share with friends and family. You will also be given a book to take home, containing the recipes and methods of the skills you have learnt during the class.
Our Celebration Cake Classes run from 10am-2.30pm, we take a maximum of 6 students. Cost £90
On our 2 tier masterclass you will learn how to fill, dirty ice and how to ice your cakes to perfection achieving beautiful sharp edges, you will then learn the rules of stacking and dowelling a cake. (Bottom tier to be a vanilla sponge with three layers of scrummy filling and top tier to be polystyrene). We will then make life like sugar roses and blossom flowers. We will guide you in how to decorate your cake with your delicate hand crafted sugar roses and blossom flowers and a piped pearl quilted effect.
Our 2 tier masterclasses run from 10am-4.30pm, we take a maximum of 4 students. Cost £130.
This year we are introducing a new Drip Class, where you will learn how to fill and smooth buttercream finish a 6 inch round lemon zest cake with vanilla buttercream and lemon curd, you’ll learn to master the ganache drip affect and make a few simple decoration to decorate your cake with alongside some sweet treats.
Our Drip Cakes class will run from 10am-2.30pm and costs £85.
